St. Michael’s Catholic Cathedral was agog with pleasure when it hosted the 2014 class of St. Thomas Acquinas Major Seminary, Markudi for their inaugural class meeting. The class of 2014 was encouraged to always have respect and regards for their senior priests and not to see priesthood as a bed of roses but rather as a call to serve God and humanity. The Mass was followed immediately by a befitting reception for the maiden meeting and also to celebrate the birthday of the host Priest, Rev. Fr James Dawa. At the reception, Fr. James Dawa received accolades from the delegation of the Parish Pastoral Council led by Mr. Samuel Idoma. Series of prayers were offered. Food and drinks were made available for the happy occasion.
